At Child Psychiatry Consultancy, we understand that financial considerations are an important aspect of accessing health services. Our fee structure is designed to be transparent and straightforward.
What Our Fees Cover
The fee for each appointment includes the time spent in consultation, along with any letters or prescriptions that are agreed upon during that session.
Please be aware that any clinical tasks completed outside of your scheduled appointment — such as responding to emails, issuing prescriptions, or writing additional reports — will incur a clinical administration fee. This is especially relevant for any additional psychiatric work undertaken by the consultant beyond the appointment itself.
Please note that assessments for conditions such as ADHD or autism are not part of a general psychiatric evaluation. These require specific structured tools and are billed as separate services.
If an ADHD diagnosis is made and you decide to pursue treatment, a dedicated ADHD Treatment Package must be arranged. The initial assessment focuses solely on diagnosis and does not cover medication, prescriptions, or any follow-up care — these are included in the treatment package if you choose to proceed.
Cancellation Policy: We have a cancellation policy in place to ensure that all patients have access to timely appointments. You are expected to provide notice within a specified time frame (2 days prior to appointment) to avoid cancellation fees.
